Course Description

The placement and restoration of dental implants into the biologic network of remaining teeth presents numerous challenges. Among those includes a decision shared by the clinician and the dental laboratory to select the appropriate abutment design that ensures esthetic mimicry of natural teeth while providing optimal tissue health. Clinicians, technicians and most importantly patients benefit by a restorative workflow that maximizes the quality of the restoration as well as compatibility with various implant systems. By using state of the art technology with which we can seamlessly adopt a digital process that partners with our supporting laboratory and provides our patients with an implant crown solution which incorporates function, esthetics, health, durability and … retrievability.

This presentation will focus on the benefits of patient specific abutments for implant restorations among natural teeth and will discuss the solutions to provide excellent restoration of implants using the latest CAD/CAM technology.
