How do I enter West Point?

Every visitor 18 years of age and above without a valid (not expired) Department of Defense issued identification card must obtain a temporary guest pass to access post.

Grad Pass
Graduates may apply for a 5-year Grad Pass and 1 year passes for their escorted guests. There is no pre-submission for the Grad Pass, Graduates will need to report to the Visitor Control Center to present their REAL ID and have their pass digitally imbedded to their ID. Grad Pass is good for five years. Longer wait times can be expected during event peak season. Allow 1-2 hours prior to your first event on post.

2. Game days will have special event status and you will be able to access post without a pass 6 hours prior to kick-off and during the game.
3. Special event status will end when the game ends; you will require a pass to access post once the game has ended.

Where can I park?

Parking is extremely limited in the Central Post Area of West Point, the vicinity of the academic buildings and barracks which requires a CPA Pass. It is recommended that you park in Buffalo Soldier Field, K Lot (Subway & Starbucks parking lot), or H Lot (Commissary/PX parking lot) and use the West Point North/South Shuttle.

West Point North/South Shuttle:
The community shuttle is also available between the hours of 7:00am and 6:00pm Monday through Friday except for Federal holidays; it arrives and departs from its designated locations approximately every 30 minutes. Click here for more information and to download the app.

Where do I park on Game Day?

Game Day Parking is controlled by the Athletics Department; general parking is included with your game day ticket purchase, but you cannot request specific parking areas unless you are a season ticket holder.  Please visit www.armygameday.com for more information on game day parking, shuttles, and policies.

Do I have access to Central Area, Thayer Hall, or the C-store during the reunion?

The following locations within the Central Cadet Area are accessible during your reunion: Thayer Walk, Grant Hall, Jefferson Hall, Arvin Gym, and Class gift areas. You must always wear your reunion name badge. The Cadet Store is now in an academic building and requires an escort to access.

Registration

Can I cancel my registration? What is the refund policy?

What does the registration fee include?

Registration fees consist of three parts:  

a. The User Experience which includes the Howitzer photo nametags & class branded lanyards.
b. A Custom Swag Bag selected by your Class Reunion Committee. 
c. Overhead that includes items that every attendee will pay for as determined by your Class Reunion Committee – such as bus transportation, rentals, printing, audio/visual services, and WPAOG’s Full-Service Event Support fee. Meals are not part of the registration fee and are priced as optional events you can select and choose to attend. 

Note: There is a nominal credit card fee charged to the Main Registrant that is included in the Registration fee.

How much does it cost to attend a reunion?

The cost of the Reunion is determined by the Class Reunion Committee. Graduates can expect to pay between $400-$700 per person (not including air fare, rental car, game tickets, hotel) if attending all reunion events. If bringing a guest to all events, costs can vary between $800-$1,400 total. All costs are dependent on the type of reunion activity and the price is set by the Class Reunion Committee.

How many guests can I bring?

There is no limit to the number of guests you can bring to the reunion, but there is a maximum number of guests you can register on the event website which is up to 30 individuals. 

Can I bring children? Why is there not a registration type for children ages 4 & under?

Children can attend most reunion events, if not all. Events are determined by the Class Reunion Chair. There is not a registration fee for children 4 & under, but they are welcome to attend.

What does WPAOG’s Full-Service Event Support fee include?

WPAOG's Full-Service Event Support includes email communication, hotel contract negotiation, vendor coordination, menu planning, registration management, program design, and the staffing and execution of the Reunion. The Full-Service Event Support fee serves to enhance the programs and services WPAOG provides to the Long Gray Line. The tasks provided by WPAOG are operated as a service, and not for profit. 

Dietary & Special Needs

I have a dietary restriction/food allergy.

During the registration process, you will be able to select from a limited drop-down menu a list of allergy restrictions that some of our vendors are able to accommodate. If you don’t see your preference on the list, please make alternate accommodations for your meal. Also, please note that if you select an allergy from the list, a separate meal may not be provided, but we will make every effort to ensure your preference is included in the overall reunion menu.

I use a walker / wheelchair / or have difficulty walking. Is there a place to indicate this?

Please enter any special needs in the Special Requirements section of the registration process. If you are a full-time wheelchair user, please enter this information here. If you or a family member needs a wheelchair during the reunion, please arrange for this on your own. Also, remember to bring your handicap decal for your car if you are planning to drive. WPAOG will review the information and discuss any special accommodation needed with the Class Reunion planning committee and the Class Reunion officers.

Attire

What do I wear?

Below is a brief description for attires that you will see listed on the Reunion Schedule:

Casual Attire:
Men: khakis or nice jeans, shorts, polo shirt, turtleneck, casual button-down shirt and/or sweater
Women: sundress, long or short skirt, khakis or nice jeans, shorts, polo shirt, turtleneck, casual button-down blouse

Business Casual Attire:
Men: slacks with open collared shirt and sweater or sports coat
Women: slacks with blouse, skirt and blouse, or pants suit

Dressy Casual Attire:
Men: seasonal sport coat or blazer and slacks, dress shirt, casual button-down shirt optional tie, open-collar or polo shirt
Women: dress, skirt and dressy top, dressy pants outfit, nice jeans and dressy top

Cocktail Attire:
Men: business suit and dress shirt, or sport coat/blazer, slacks, open-collar shirt or dress shirt, tie optional
Women: cocktail dress, "little black dress", long dressy skirt and top or dressy separates

As for Spirit Attire: Show off your West Point pride as you see fit. We have seen it all – jerseys, jackets, cadet uniforms, & robes!
