Important Deadlines
September 15: Last day to cancel and receive a refund for AGM registration, less $50 fee
September 30: Requests for dietary restriction accommodations are due
September 30: Last day to cancel and receive a refund for AGM activities
October 6: JW Marriott Starr Pass cut-off date for making room reservations at JASNA rate (read this regarding limited availability at this hotel)
October 7: Last day for advance banquet table sign-up (after this date, sign up on-site)
October 22: Target date for launch of the AGM Event App, which will provide your schedule, interactive hotel maps, and other information on your phone and enable you to connect with other AGM-goers
72 hours before arrival date: Deadline for cancelling JW Marriott hotel reservations (late cancellations forfeit one night's charges)

- We're happy to announce a new addition to the agenda: on Saturday evening, we'll welcome playwright/screenwriter Reina Hardy for a lighthearted chat. Reina wrote the script for the Hallmark movie "Paging Mr. Darcy," which is set at a Jane Austen conference (notice any similarities?). She'll talk about her experience with the movie, her inspiration, and what's wrong with Mr. Darcy. (Her talk will follow Cheryl Butler's performance; the previously scheduled talk on insobriety is cancelled.) (9/25)

Meet and Greet

As the sun sets, the fun begins!
If you're arriving at the hotel on Wednesday, join us from 6pm to 8pm on the Salud Patio (just off the main lobby) to greet old friends and meet new ones as the sun sets over the mountains. A full menu of drinks, snacks, and meals will be available for purchase. Better yet, come early and enjoy the hotel's complimentary tequila toast at 5:30pm.
You can check in at the conference area and pick up your conference materials between 4pm and 8pm on Wednesday, or get them when you arrive Thursday or Friday.
Food and Drink
Good food is both a necessity and a pleasure at an AGM. Here's a day-by-day overview of meal options and ideas.

Meals in dark blue are included with registration for Attendees and Companions. Meals with an asterisk require tickets purchased in advance. Please make any additions to your AGM registration by September 30.
WEDNESDAY: On your own. Consider adding a ticket for the Bus to Downtown* to your registration to enjoy a restaurant and sightseeing (details here). In the evening, Meet and Greet on Salud Patio (food and drinks at own expense; see details above).
THURSDAY: On your own. Consider adding a ticket for the Bus to Downtown* to your registration to enjoy a restaurant and sightseeing (details here). Some spaces are still available for the Buffet Dinner at Cafe a la C'Arte* at the Art Museum downtown (transportation included with ticket, details here).
FRIDAY: Tea and muffins in the conference area (7:45am - 9:15am). Lunch available at own cost from cafe counters in meeting space (salads $12-15, sandwiches $14) with seating on terrace or indoors. Ticketed Lunch-and-Learn* (in-house, sold out, details here). In the evening, the Dine-Around* offers an opportunity to join a small group of other AGM attendees as a downtown restaurant. (Transportation included with ticket; dinner cost at own expense. Purchase bus ticket by September 30; restaurant sign-up sheets will be released soon).
SATURDAY: Tea and muffins in the conference area (8:00am - 9:30am). Lunch available at own cost from cafe counters in meeting space (salads $12-15, sandwiches $14) with seating on terrace. In the evening, Social Hour (no-host bar, no cash accepted, only cards or charge to room) and AGM Banquet.
SUNDAY: Buffet breakfast. In the evening, Post-AGM Dinner, El Charro Mexican Buffet at the Carriage House* (transportation included with ticket, details here), and Los Milics Dining and Wine Evening* (transportation included, details here).
