Allen Young currently serves as the vice president of education at PaymentsFirst and is responsible for developing and delivering payments-related education for clients and members of the payments association. Prior to the formation of PaymentsFirst, Allen served as president and CEO of the South Carolina Automated Clearing House Association (SOCACHA) since 2008.

Before joining the association in 1998, Allen spent 17 and a half years in bank operations and data processing for several community banks as an operations manager, data processing manager and programmer. Allen is an Accredited ACH Professional (AAP), having received his certification in 1998.

As a resident of South Carolina for over 50 years, Allen resides in Columbia, South Carolina, with his wife and two very active boys. He has been a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians since 1987.
