The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) will host Creating Pathways to Prosperity: Connecting Small Businesses to Capital, Capacity, and Opportunity   Small businesses are the backbone of Dallas County’s economy, creating jobs, strengthening neighborhoods, and driving innovation. Yet many entrepreneurs continue to face challenges accessing capital, preparing for financing, and navigating the network of resources available to support business growth.

To help address these challenges, FDIC Community Affairs is convening banks, Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs), nonprofit organizations, business support organizations, educational institutions, chambers of commerce, government agencies, and entrepreneurs for an interactive forum focused on connecting small businesses to the resources they need to succeed.

Participants will hear directly from lenders, business owners, technical assistance providers, and community partners about preparing for financing, understanding lender expectations, accessing capital, and leveraging local resources to build resilient businesses.

The program concludes with a Resource Marketplace, providing entrepreneurs with direct access to banks, CDFIs, SBA resource partners, mentoring organizations, and business development experts.  Participants will leave with practical strategies, new partnerships, and clear next steps for growing successful businesses.
