OUR MISSION

The California Training Officers' Annual Fresno Symposium's mission is to provide leadership for the continued advancement of public safety training and education.

Additionally, the Annual Symposium offers excellent networking opportunities in which attendees can share challenges, exchange ideas, and conceptualize solutions with others who have similar experiences and interests.

The California Training Officers' Annual Fresno Symposium emphasizes training excellence, firefighter safety, and the shaping of tomorrow’s fire service.

A Message from Our Executive Board

The California Training Officers’ Section of the California Fire Chiefs Association is committed to advancing excellence in fire service training through collaboration, innovation, and the delivery of high-quality educational opportunities throughout California.

As an extension of that mission, we are proud to partner with State Center Community College District (SCCCD) to bring this Engineers Academy to the First Responder Campus in Fresno. By working alongside local agencies and educational partners, we strive to make professional development more accessible while delivering practical, relevant training that prepares firefighters for the next step in their careers.

Together, we are building stronger firefighters, stronger departments, and a stronger California fire service - one class at a time!
