We acknowledge that the Leadership Academy will take place on the traditional Treaty 7 Territory, which includes the Blackfoot Confederacy Nations of Siksika, Kainai, and Piikani, the Tsuut’ina First Nation, and our neighbours, the Îethka Stoney Nakoda Nation consisting of the Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Good Stoney Bands. This territory is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3, within the historical Northwest Métis homeland.
