At the Heart of Texas: Fort Worth

Join us for a unique presentation featuring insights from the third edition of At the Heart of Texas, a comprehensive economic report analyzing Texas' key metropolitan areas. Dallas Fed business economist Laila Assanie will present findings from the report and will provide additional updates on the regional economy with a focus on Fort Worth.  Analysis shows why Texas was amongst states to quickly rebound from the pandemic. Dallas Fed researchers mapped industry growth in 12 metros from 2016 through the post-pandemic period to measure how they contributed to economic development. The report also covers the current AI boom propelling data center expansion and investment across the state. The Dallas Fed maintains close connections with local business and community leaders to enhance its understanding of regional economic conditions and to share Dallas Fed research and resources.
