The Center for Excellence in Higher Education Law & Policy is pleased to announce that our popular online class, the FERPA Compliance Certificate Program, will return this fall. Featuring a refreshing approach to developing knowledge and skills related to FERPA compliance, this innovative training will be facilitated by Melissa Carleton, FERPA influencer, Vice President of Higher Education at INCompliance Consulting, and Partner and Higher Education Chair at Bricker Graydon Wyatt LLP.

The FERPA Compliance Certificate Program will cover basics of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) compliance. This program will also feature interactive learning that will benefit persons who deliver educational services and handle education records on a daily basis.

Attendees will participate in synchronous classes once per week for four weeks, receive complimentary resources and deliverables, and take part in weekly reviews based on real-world scenarios. Participants will leave this program with a strengthened ability to tackle student privacy questions facing their institutions and hopefully spot issues before they become major problems.

See agenda page for additional information.

Upon completion of this training, attendees will receive a certificate of completion.

This training program has been approved for 7.0 General CLE credits.
