Collective Bargaining
The Collective Bargaining regional workshops are scheduled for the fall. Each workshop spans over an evening and a day.
Overview:
Evening Session
- Dinner: 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- Workshop: 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Day Session
- Breakfast: 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
- Workshop: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Local teacher bargaining units are requested to participate in the regional workshops.
Who can attend/Release Time
Provincial Office will pay for the expenses of the Unit President and one additional representative. Each OT representative will also be funded. Units are encourages to fund additional delegates to attend this meeting.
Health & Safety
The Health & Safety regional workshops are scheduled for the fall. Each workshop spans over an evening and a day.

- Breakfast: 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
- Workshop: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
It is recommended that the worker co-chair for the JHSC attend the Health & Safety Workshop. If your board has site-based inspections and/or site-based committees, please give serious consideration to having other identified worker members attend these health & safety regional workshops.
Who can attend/Release Time
Provincial Office will pay for the expenses of the Unit President or designate; a representative of regular day school (permanent) teachers from the Joint Health & Safety Committee or designate; and another representative from the Joint Health & Safety Committee or designate, that may be an occasional teacher representative, where applicable. Units are encouraged to fund additional delegates to attend this meeting at the unit/local expense.
