Built in 1961, William Dukes, AIA, designed his personal family home in the newer subdivision of San Antonio of Castle Hills. The home was found in a state of almost demolition status and carefully reconstructed and updated to the original architect's vision. Remarkably modern, the home includes an exposed space frame structure, split level study, and a main living area, with 14' tall ceilings, allowing for views in every direction but still having privacy from the neighbors.

With an “only an architect would do this” attitude, the home was purchased to restore the home to its original importance. With the careful research to the impeccable original drawings prepared by architect Jack Peterson (of O'Neil Ford's office), the home is a unique case study of modern design and construction while embracing the spirit of the original design and detail.
