The PI meeting will begin at 8:30am on July 21 and end by 5:30pm on July 22, 2026. The objectives of the meeting are to bring together the Principal Investigators of the ASCR supported Computer Science projects to:
- Share progress and showcase recent accomplishments in DOE-funded computer science research
- Initiate and strengthen cross-project and cross-program collaborations
- Inspire innovative future research directions
- Discuss synergies with the DOE's Genesis mission, while maintaining a long-term vision for computer science's advancement in supporting ASCR and DOE’s unique scientific leadership nationally and internationally
In person registration is required for workshop participants. Follow the link in the email you will receive for this meeting to complete the process. There will not be a discounted registration fee for attending multiple of the Applied Math, Computer Science, and/or Quantum Information Science PI meetings held the week of July 20-24, 2026.
The registration fee is $200 and includes continental breakfast, lunch, and coffee breaks on both days. If you are a DOE employee or local federal employee, you will not pay the registration fee but will be able to purchase breakfast or lunch on site or during registration.
Plenary sessions will be streamed via Zoom for those wanting to view them. Virtual registration is required to stream any plenary sessions and can be completed by clicking the "Virtual Attendance Registration" button and completing the form. Do not register for virtual attendance if you are attending in person.
