This year's symposium will highlight women leading sustainability initiatives and aiming to inspire Cornell students to pursue impactful careers across public, private, and social sectors and have meaningful environmental or social impact. Through panel discussions, presentations, and networking chats, we will provide a platform to raise awareness and visibility of the challenges and opportunities encountered by women and nonbinary changemakers who are shaping the future of sustainability leadership.
Our goal is to raise awareness of the challenges and opportunities these trailblazers face, providing a platform for their stories to be heard. We hope that by sharing their journeys and experiences, students will be motivated to craft their own career visions, inspired by those who have navigated similar paths, overcome obstacles, and achieved success in mission-driven careers.
