For: CU Denver and Denver Metro community members
Why: William Edward Burghardt (W.E.B.) Du Bois (1868-1963) was one of America’s foremost Black intellectuals and activists. His work on race, society, and civil rights has lasting impact, as does the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), which he co-founded. This event for the CU Denver and Denver metro community honors Du Bois’ extensive and enduring contributions and establishes a dialogue on theirrelevance in today’s rapidly shifting social and political climate.
Lunch Provided. Register by Monday, March 10. Contact antwan jefferson with any questions about this event.
