
100-Level Insurance Learning includes:
- Coach - on the job application, learning by doing. Coaches will guide learners through learning and connect them with others to help as well.
- Learning Guides - instructions and resources to engaging field-based learning. Planning Guides link to various learning guides to follow as learners have applicable work.
- eLearning - Learning Guides may link to online courses for fundamental skills or knowledge checks.
- Virtual Classes - learn from and connect with subject matter experts and leadership.
- In-Person Classes - learn from and connect with subject matter experts, leadership, and external instructors.
Participation in 100-level Insurance learning should be guided by the following and confirmed with supervisors (individual situations and work experience may warrant exceptions):
- Required: Insurance staff new to their role.
- Optional: Others with an interest in learning more or updating their knowledge and skills. Optional learners should visit with their supervisor to confirm which learning experiences, virtual workshops, and classes are most relevant to their interests and learning objectives.
