Recommended Arrival and Departure Dates

It is recommended that participants in pre-conference trainings arrive either Monday or Tuesday, August 3 or 4, 2026 (depending on their training dates). Information about your trainings will be sent to you separately. - Exhibitors
Exhibitors are encouraged to set up their booths 2-5 p.m. Tuesday, August 4, 2026. Early check-in will be available to KHC staff and exhibitors at that time. - General Attendees
All other attendees are encouraged to arrive before 8 a.m. Wednesday, August 5, 2026. The opening plenary begins at 8:30 a.m. that morning.
KHC staff and board members, as well as speakers, must request their stay via registration.
Do not book your room separately; if you did, please let us know.
When is the Room Reservation Block Cutoff Date?
Hotel room cutoff date is has passed, for both hotels. Room reservations made past this date are not guaranteed. All rooms within the room block are first come, first serve and are subject to availability.
Can I Extend My Trip Outside of the Conference Dates?
Yes, a very limited number of shoulder dates are available through our room block at the conference rate one day pre- and post-conference. Shoulder night room block rates are subject to availability and on a first come first served basis.
What Time is Check-In and Check-Out? / Can I Request a Late Check-Out?
Check-in time is 4 p.m. and check-out time is 11 a.m. Upon request and when possible, the hotel will try to accommodate early check-in and late check-out as available. Please contact the hotel during your reservation to request any changes to your check-in or check-out time.
How Do I Book My Room?
You have the option of staying at either hotel; the Hyatt is closer to the convention center via pedway, but the Hilton is easier to travel outside from. You may choose whichever suits your needs more.
We recommend those attending the pre-conference trainings on Monday stay at the Hyatt.
How Do I Pay For My Room?
The hotels require all guests to secure their room and incidentals with a credit card. The hotel will charge each guest the first night’s room rate and tax as a deposit. The remaining balance will be charged after your stay. If you have questions about billing, please reach out to the Marriott directly.
Hotel Cancellation Policy
The hotels allow individual attendee cancellations paying on own without penalty up to 24 hours prior to the attendee’s scheduled arrival date. Property will charge one night’s guestroom rate plus tax for cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled arrival date or failure of the individual attendee to check-in on the scheduled arrival date (each a “no-show”).
Any remaining nights of a no-show reservation will be canceled without additional penalty. Individual attendees will be responsible for payment of their own suites, taxes, and incidental charges. Hotel reservations canceled after the room block cutoff date, may be subject to room charges.
Parking
Both the Hyatt and convention center share the High Street surface lot across from Rupp Arena. The Hilton has its own parking garage accessible from Vine Street. More information about parking is available on the Central Bank Center website.
For those staying at the Hyatt, validated parking is available.
In addition to the High Street lot, there are several other parking options around both the hotels and the Central Bank Center, noted on the map below.
