By registering for or attending the CASC 2026 Convention & Expo, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Registration & Payment

  • Full payment is required at the time of registration unless paying by approved purchase order.
  • If paying by purchase order, payment must be received by September 15, 2026
  • Registration is not confirmed until payment or an approved purchase order is received
  • CASC reserves the right to refuse or cancel registrations at its discretion.

2. Early Bird Pricing

  • Early Bird rates are available only through June 30, 2026
  • Registrations must be completed and paid in full by the Early Bird deadline, June 30, 2026 to qualify.
  • After the deadline, standard registration rates will apply.
  • Early Bird pricing cannot be applied retroactively.

3. Cancellation, Refunds & Substitutions

  • Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to CASC@schoolcounselor-ca.org.
  • Refund deadlines and any administrative fees will be posted on the event website.
  • No refunds will be issued after the published deadline.
  • Substitutions from the same school or organization may be permitted with written notice prior to the event.

4. Special Events & Ticketed Experiences

  • Certain special events (including but not limited to the Awards Ceremony and Taste of Riverside) require separate tickets.
  • Tickets for special events may be limited in quantity.
  • Unless otherwise stated, special event tickets are non-refundable.
  • Special event tickets are non-transferable without prior written approval.
  • If a special event is canceled by CASC, a refund or credit will be issued for that specific ticket.

5. Event Modifications & Force Majeure

CASC reserves the right to modify the event schedule, speakers, session topics, or venue location as necessary.

CASC shall not be liable for delay or cancellation of the Event due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Public health emergencies
  • Government orders
  • Venue closures
  • Acts of God
  • Labor disputes
  • Travel disruptions

In such cases, CASC may offer refunds, credits, or rescheduling options at its discretion.

6. Code of Conduct

CASC is committed to providing a professional, respectful, and inclusive environment.

Attendees agree to:

  • Conduct themselves professionally
  • Treat fellow attendees, speakers, exhibitors, and staff with respect
  • Follow venue policies and event guidelines

CASC reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior is disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate, without refund.

7. Photography & Media Release

By attending the Event, you acknowledge that photographs, video, or audio recordings may be taken.

These materials may be used by CASC for educational, promotional, or association-related purposes, including website, social media, and marketing materials.

If you have concerns about being recorded, please notify event staff onsite.

8. Assumption of Risk

By attending the CASC 2026 Convention & Expo, you voluntarily assume all risks related to participation, including personal injury, illness, travel disruptions, or property loss.

Attendees are responsible for their own health, safety, travel arrangements, and insurance coverage.

9. Accessibility & Accommodations

CASC is committed to accessibility. Requests for accommodations can be made at the time of registration.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by California law, CASC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from participation in the Event.

11. Privacy

Personal information collected during registration is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. CASC does not sell or share personal information.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California.
