Overview
As they say, “Cash is king!” It’s also the lifeblood of a community health center (CHC). The revenue cycle process is critical to delivering care to your communities. From the time a patient walks through the door to the final payment receipt, CHCs need sound policies and procedures for patient intake, billing, and cash collection. It’s also essential to monitor your progress and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) to various audiences. This training is designed to highlight best practices in these areas, provide example policies and procedures, and share tracking tools to help you improve your revenue.
Learning Objectives
- Identify the key components of an effective CHC revenue cycle program.
- Discuss financial, reimbursement, compliance, and internal control considerations that can impact CHC revenue performance.
- Analyze revenue cycle performance using industry benchmarks, KPIs, and reporting tools to develop strategies that can help improve operational efficiency, financial sustainability, and regulatory compliance within an FQHC environment.
