Bisonville is a new Homecoming tradition designed to bring the entire Bucknell community together in one vibrant, interactive space. Located near the football stadium, this festival-style experience will serve as Homecoming's central gathering place, welcoming alumni, students, families, faculty, staff and local partners to celebrate Bucknell spirit before the Homecoming game.
Featuring hands-on activities hosted by academic departments, student organizations, athletics teams and campus partners, Bisonville showcases the very best of Bucknell's people, talents and traditions. Folk Justice Band, featuring current Bucknell faculty members, will perform throughout the event, adding to the festive atmosphere.

The App MakerSpace bridges the gap between student entrepreneurial vision and technical reality. From no-code solutions to advanced programming, we provide the infrastructure, expertise, and support to transform your ideas into tangible applications.
Bison Paws
Meet some of Bucknell's beloved support dogs and learn about the important role they play in promoting student well-being and community connection. Visitors can interact with the dogs (as appropriate), explore resources about the program and discover opportunities to support or become involved with this impactful campus initiative.
Bucknell Institute for Dialogue and Democracy
The Bucknell Institute for Dialogue and Democracy is a new campus wide initiative dedicated to preparing students for positive citizenship in an increasingly polarized world. Stop by to learn how the institute fosters respectful dialogue, civic engagement and the skills needed to navigate complex issues with curiosity, empathy and purpose. Discover how this new initiative is helping students build meaningful connections across differences while strengthening the Bucknell community and beyond.
Celebrate 40 Years of the Bison Fellows Program (formerly Residential Colleges)
The Residential Colleges program has a new name — the Bison Fellows Program — and this year marks its 40th anniversary!
Stop by to meet current Bison Fellows students and learn how the program has evolved over the past four decades. Alumni can also test their knowledge with a fun trivia bingo game, comparing today's Bison Fellows experience with the program they remember from their time at Bucknell.
"Dear Data" Postcard Creation with Mathematics & Statistics
Come create Dear Data postcards with members of the Mathematics & Statistics Department. We'll provide the postcards, and you create your data visualization. Some postcards will be preprinted with a campus map so you can mark places such as where you had classes or rank your favorite study spots. Other postcards will be blank, giving you the freedom to visualize your data any way you choose. Make a small donation to the department, and we'll feature your name, occupation or title on an exam in your favorite course.
Dominguez Center for Data Science
Discover how data is being used to solve real-world problems at Bucknell and beyond. Explore student-led research projects focused on topics such as food insecurity and data science education, learn about opportunities to engage with the Data Science Student Fellows Program and participate in interactive activities that bring data to life. Visitors can vote for their favorite campus locations, contribute to live data sets and explore visualizations created by Bucknell students and researchers.
Geology & Environmental Geosciences
Discover the dynamic forces that shape our planet through hands-on geoscience activities for all ages. Create your own "earthquake" to explore how seismic waves help scientists see beneath Earth's surface (weather permitting), experiment with a stream table to learn how rivers and streams shape the landscape over time, and examine fascinating geology specimens, including fossils, rocks and minerals. Stop by to explore, ask questions and experience the science of Earth in an engaging, interactive way.
Pennant Decorating
Show your Bucknell spirit by creating your own custom pennant! Participants of all ages are invited to paint, decorate and personalize a Bucknell-themed pennant to take home or display during Homecoming. This fun, hands-on activity offers a creative way to celebrate Bucknell pride and make a lasting Homecoming memory.
Perricelli-Gegnas Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation
Learn more about how the Perricelli-Gegnas Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation supports Bucknellian founders, provides skill-building opportunities for students, and opportunities for alumni to engage. Students will have some of their projects on display for hands-on product testing and, with the App MakerSpace, we'll have live demos of apps and sites developed by students. We welcome you to provide valuable feedback as part of a real-time customer discovery focus group.
G.A.M.E. Studio: Gaming Art Music for Everyone
See creativity and technology come together at this interactive showcase featuring a student-built arcade machine loaded with video games developed by Bucknell students. Presented through the Department of Computer Science as part of a campus wide initiative, this hands-on experience highlights student innovation, game design and programming while giving visitors the chance to play and explore the projects firsthand.
Printing Press
Experience the art and craftsmanship of traditional printing. Watch a small printing press in action, learn about the printing process and take part in a hands-on demonstration that showcases this timeless form of communication and creativity.
