Celebrate Sheen: The Beatification of Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen

Join the global Catholic community for the Beatification Mass of Venerable Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen, celebrated by His Eminence, Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle.
We are honored to welcome priests, deacons, seminarians, and religious from across the country and around the world to this historic celebration. Select the button below to register for the Beatification Mass, based on your vocation. Registration requirements and participation details vary by group.
The Registration Portal for Bishops was sent privately through the USCCB. Bishops should register through that portal, or by contacting the Bishop's Office in Peoria: 309-671-1550.
Priests
Priests who wish to concelebrate the Beatification Mass are invited to register using the button below.
During registration, you will be asked to provide:
- Diocese or religious order of incardination
- Any accessibility or accommodation needs
- Faculties to hear confessions
- Availability to hear confessions during Beatification events
A current Letter of Suitability is required. Registration will not be finalized until the letter has been received and approved.
A $25 registration fee applies.
This page is for those priests who want to concelebrate for the Beatification, and who can obtain a letter of suitability from their ecclesiastical superior. If you are not concelebrating, you should purchase a regular ticket. Religious priests should register under the priest registration page and not the religious page.
Deacons
Deacons who wish to participate as ministers in the liturgy are invited to register using the button below.
During registration, you will be asked to provide:
- Diocese or religious order of incardination
- Any accessibility or accommodation needs
- Ability to assist with the distribution of Holy Communion
- Whether your wife will be attending
A current Letter of Suitability is required. Registration will not be finalized until the letter has been received and approved.
Registration fees:
- $25 for deacons attending individually
- $50 for married deacons attending with their spouse
This page is for those deacons who want to vest for the Beatification, and who can obtain a letter of suitability from their ecclesiastical superior. If you are not vesting, you should purchase a regular ticket.
Religious deacons should register under the deacon registration page and not the religious page.
Seminarians
Seminarians are invited to join this historic celebration and may be asked to assist with hospitality or Communion-related ministries.
During registration, you will be asked to provide:
- Diocese of sponsorship or religious order
- Confirmation of availability for a required Wednesday rehearsal
A discounted fee of $12.50 applies because of required ticketing fees.

Religious
Men and women in consecrated religious life are welcome to participate in the Beatification celebration.
During registration, you will be asked to identify your religious community or order. Religious registrations will be coordinated by community whenever possible. If you plan to attend with a group larger than 10, please email to register.
A donor has covered the ticketing fees for lay religious.
Religious priests or deacons should follow the page for priests or deacons to obtain your ticket.
