FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT

Who should attend the LCW Conference?

The LCW Conference focuses on employment and labor law issues from the perspective of public-sector management. Representatives of public entities, including cities, counties, special districts, public educational institutions, and public safety agencies, are welcome to attend.

LCW programs are designed exclusively for management representatives. Registration is therefore limited to individuals who represent employers. We do not accept registrations from individuals employed by unions, union-side law firms, consulting firms that represent employees in labor relations matters, or attorneys or organizations whose primary role is representing employees.

LCW reserves the right to decline registrations that do not meet these criteria. If a registration is declined, LCW will refund the payment less a $40 administrative fee.

What are the registration fees for the 2027 LCW Conference?

Individual Conference rate:

  • $725 per attendee through January 13, 2027
  • $795 per attendee beginning January 14, 2027

Group rate (three or more attendees from the same agency registered in the same transaction):

  • $695 per attendee through January 13, 2027
  • The group rate is not available beginning January 14, 2027.

What are the registration fees for the Pre-Conference programs?

  • $525 per attendee through January 13, 2027
  • $595 per attendee beginning January 14, 2027

What is the deadline for registration and can I register on-site?

Advance registration is strongly encouraged and is available until the conference begins, space permitting. On-site registration may be available but cannot be guaranteed, as attendance counts and food and beverage arrangements must be finalized in advance. To ensure your place and the best conference experience, we recommend registering as early as possible.
