December 14
1:30 p.m. ET
Somewhere between the November budget meeting and the letter that is sent out to parents in January, a tuition number gets chosen. Usually it's last year's, plus a little. Usually someone has to stand in front of a board and defend it without ever seeing what the other choices would have done to reserves.
The Tuition Decision Labshop is one afternoon built to change that. A live, virtual working session limited to 30 schools. You bring five years of enrollment, this year's budget, and the salary increase you're hoping to give. We teach the method on a sample school, then you build your own model in the room with the other schools in your cohort helping you put it to the test. You leave with the model, the talking points for your finance committee, and a two-question parent survey to run the week after. "Office hours" with us follow, live and unrecorded.
A Labshop is a lab and a workshop in one sitting: the lab, because you work on your own school's data; the workshop, because you build something and take it with you. ISM's team works it with you, as a thought partner at the table rather than a lecturer at the front. Do it yourself. Not by yourself.
This Labshop designed for
- Head of School
- Business Officer or CFO
- Associate Heads or Division Heads
- Director of Admission/Enrollment
- Finance Committee Chair
Registration is per school; add a second attendee so you build the model together.
Two attendees maximum, each on their own computer, cameras and microphones on.
