The AMA’s Code of Conduct for AMA-sponsored meetings helps ensure a professional and ethical environment for all attendees. Everyone should feel welcome, safe and able to participate without fear of unwelcome conduct or harassment, including sexual harassment, in-person or through electronic communication (social media, texting, apps, etc.). The Code of Conduct also covers behavior during social events and gatherings held during the meeting, as well as interactions between members and AMA staff.
If you have any questions about the Code of Conduct, are aware of behavior that may have violated the Code of Conduct, or would like to report an incident, you can submit information in the following ways:
- The Conduct Liaison assigned to the meeting: Lauren Robinson, Senior Assistant General Counsel at (312) 464-4926 or lauren.robinson@ama-assn.org
- The presiding officer for the AMA meeting you are attending
- The third-party hotline at 1-800-398-1496, or online, which can be submitted anonymously. Some users may see a "Your connection is not private" warning when clicking the online link. The site is safe to visit. If you encounter this message, you can click "Advanced" and then "Proceed to https://report.syntrio.com/ama” to continue.
