Tara Lipinski
Tara Lipinski, the internationally acclaimed figure skater who won over the world's hearts when she earned the gold medal at the 1998 Nagano Olympics – earning her the distinction as the youngest individual Gold Medalist ever in Winter Games history – has applied the same grace, finesse and assiduous character as a role model to empower a whole generation of young girls to achieve any goal they set their minds to. In the now 26 years since her Olympic triumph, Lipinski takes the same championship-style approach to her roles as a TV sports commentator for NBC, an actress, a philanthropist and Mom.
Today, Tara Lipinski is NBC's prime-time figure skating TV analyst, covering events like the World Figure Skating Championships, U.S. National Championships, and the 2018, 2022, and 2026 Olympic Games. Aside from figure skating, NBC has enlisted Tara for their live event coverage of the Kentucky Derby, Super Bowl XLIX, and the 2016, 2020, and 2024 Summer Olympics. Expanding her presence beyond sports broadcasting, she also appeared as a contestant on the Peacock reality competition series The Traitors, showcasing her competitive spirit in a new arena.
Johnny Weir
Born in Coatesville, Pennsylvania, Johnny Weir is a renowned figure in the world of figure skating and entertainment. A two-time U.S. Olympian and three-time U.S. National Figure Skating Champion, he also claimed the bronze medal at the 2008 World Championships and twice earned bronze at the Grand Prix Final. Additionally, Weir was the 2001 World Junior Figure Skating Champion. Beyond the rink, he serves as NBC's lead figure skating commentator, an Ambassador to the Olympic Games, and a Cultural and Fashion Icon.
Johnny Weir's influence extends far beyond figure skating. He starred in the highly anticipated fourth season of the Emmy Award-winning series The Traitors on Peacock, bringing his distinctive charm to the acclaimed reality competition series. He's also known for his charismatic and bold commentary during NBC's coverage of events like The Kentucky Derby, The Super Bowl, the National Dog Show, and the Beverly Hills Dog Show. A passionate fan of Europe's Eurovision Song Contest, Johnny was thrilled to host the U.S. coverage on NBC's Peacock.
