Intact Protein Analysis (UPLC/QTOF MS) eLearning Track
This track contains 11 modules that covers information necessary to perform intact protein analysis on a UPLC/QTOF MS system. Topics include fundamentals of LCMS, MassLynx fundamentals, controlling contamination, instrument setup/data acquisition, MaxEnt1/Transform, DynamX, ion mobility and BioPharmaLynx application manager.
If you would like to register for individual eLearning courses, please see courses below:
750000690 - Fundamentals of LCMS
This module will explain the Fundamental Concepts that will build a foundation for your understanding of the more complex, instrument-specific information that you will see in other modules.
750000691 - Basic MassLynx Functions
This course is designed to give new users a fundamental understanding of the software architecture, basic functions and the tools present in MassLynx v4.1.
750001018 - Controlling Contamination in LC and LCMS Systems : Part 1
This module covers best practices for controlling contamination in LC and LCMS systems. Topics include common definitions, tips on preventing contamination and solvent considerations.
750001019 - Controlling Contamination in LC and LCMS Systems : Part 2
This module covers best practices for controlling contamination in LC and LCMS systems. Topics include troubleshooting, sources of contamination and cleaning procedures to mitigate contamination.
750000714 - Intact Protein – Instrument Setup and Data Acquisition
This module describes topics regarding instrument setup of a quadrupole time of flight mass spectrometer for intact protein studies. In particular, it discusses considerations for instrument tuning, mass range for data collection, and assurance of accurate mass measurements. This module concludes with a demonstration of how to create an experimental method file for intact protein analysis.
750000715 - Intact Protein Analysis: MaxEnt 1 and Transform
This module will discuss how to utilize MaxEnt 1 and Transform software to obtain the mass of intact proteins. It will cover best practices for using this software tool to deconvolute the protein spectra.
750000716 - BioPharmaLynx (Intact Protein) – Method Setup & Processing
This module outlines how to create a method and process intact protein data within BiopharmaLynx. An example method is created for a monoclonal antibody (Trastuzumab) and analysis is created to process the data using this method.
750000717 - BioPharmaLynx (Intact Protein) – Data Analysis
This module outlines how to analyze intact protein data within BiopharmaLynx. An example dataset is analyzed for a monoclonal antibody (Trastuzumab).
750000791 - nanoACQUITY Tips and Tricks
This module discusses how to obtain good, reproducible data from the nanoACQUITY including solvents, plumbing, startup and shutdown; and optimizing sample trapping, gradients and sensitivity.
