The Western Association of Advisors for the Health Professions (WAAHP) is excited to bring our conference to San Diego, May 27–29, 2027!
WAAHP represents nearly 300 pre-health advisors across 13 states and the Pacific U.S. Territories, bringing our community together to share expertise, explore emerging topics, and strengthen the advising we provide to future health professionals.
As a WAAHP 2027 sponsor, you'll have the opportunity to connect directly with pre-health advisors, health professions programs, and organizations from across the region while showcasing your institution to an engaged audience.

Sponsor Commitment Deadline: January 21, 2027.
To ensure inclusion in preliminary conference materials and maximize recognition opportunities, sponsors are encouraged to commit by January 21. Sponsorship opportunities may remain available after this date on a space-available basis.
Hotel Information:
All meetings and conference events take place at the Westin San Diego Gaslamp Quarter.
Premium sponsor spaces may be located on our beautiful outdoor terrace, offering a scenic San Diego setting for connecting with attendees. The terrace features a shaded pergola and umbrellas, though some areas may receive direct sunlight. Sponsors assigned to outdoor tables are encouraged to secure any equipment, materials, or valuables in their hotel rooms overnight.
Hotel reservations are separate from conference registration. All attendees are responsible for booking their own hotel room.️
The group room block at the Westin San Diego Gaslamp Quarter is OPEN and will close by May 5, 2027.
Note: A 3% non-refundable surcharge is imposed on all credit card payments. The surcharge is not greater than our cost of credit card acceptance.
SPONSOR/EXHIBITOR REFUND POLICY
Sponsor and Exhibitor funds directly support conference planning and commitments made in advance of the event. Therefore, WAAHP 2027 sponsorships, exhibitor registrations, and add-on opportunities are non-refundable.

Sponsor Package FAQ
What is the difference between an exhibitor package and a sponsor package?
The Exhibitor/All Access option is best for organizations that primarily want a table and in-person visibility. Sponsor packages include additional recognition and benefits, such as ads, logo placement, registrations, email visibility, or event sponsorship opportunities depending on level.
If we want a table, which option should we choose?
Yes. All core sponsorship levels include exhibit/table presence. The All-Access Exhibitor package includes 1 table and 2 chairs. Higher-level sponsor packages include additional visibility and benefits, and Platinum and Diamond include 2 tables plus premier placement.
Can we add extra representatives?
Yes. Additional sponsor representatives may be added if space allows. Additional representatives are $250 each for All-Access Exhibitor, Silver, and Gold sponsors, and $200 each for Platinum and Diamond sponsors.
What if we want more visibility but do not need a full sponsor package?
A la carte options may be available, such as program ads, branded conference bag items, email packages, session sponsorship, or other recognition opportunities.
Can a sponsor select both a package and an a la carte add-on?
Yes. Sponsors may add available a la carte opportunities to their sponsorship package, such as an ad upgrade, branded conference bag item, email spotlight, sponsored session, networking space, recharge room, or snack break. Some add-ons are limited in quantity, may require approval, and may only be available to certain sponsor levels.
Are sponsor opportunities limited?
Yes. Some opportunities are limited by space, schedule, or exclusivity. Examples may include reception sponsorships, snack break sponsorships, recharge room sponsorships, networking sessions, email features, or session-related opportunities.
How do we know which level is best for us?
If your main goal is table access, the All-Access Exhibitor package may be the best fit.
If your organization wants greater visibility, more registrations, and additional engagement opportunities, consider Silver, Gold, Platinum, or Diamond. Certain high-visibility add-ons, including snack break, recharge room, and networking lounge sponsorships, are intended for Silver sponsors and above and may be limited by availability.
Lower-cost visibility options, such as program ads or ad upgrades, may be available depending on package level and inventory.

Are room reservations open?
Yes. You can begin to reserve your space at the Westin San Diego Gaslamp Quarter now. The room block will close by May 5, 2027.
How do I request audio-visual support?
AV Services: Sponsors requiring additional AV services at their tables, such as electrical power, lighting, or other equipment, must coordinate directly with Encore, the venue’s AV provider. These services are subject to a separate ordering process and additional fees. This does not apply to personal devices such as laptops or tablets that do not require a power connection. Please let us know if you anticipate needing these services so we can help connect you with Encore.
