Technician Bootcamp Certifications

This course will provide in-depth instruction on the features and capabilities, hardware installation, software installation processes, hardware troubleshooting techniques, initial setup and configuration of the Symmetry Security Management System for a single site. A hands-on practical test and a written exam will be administered for certification. The certification will remain valid for two years from the date of completion, with the two-year validity policy last updated as of Aug. 1, 2023.

The Hanwha Vision Video Professional Certification is a 2.5-day, instructor-led training program culminating in a comprehensive certification exam. Designed for security industry professionals, this blended learning experience combines interactive classroom instruction, hands-on learning, real-world applications and direct engagement with industry experts. This 3.5-day, instructor-led course is designed to familiarize students with access control hardware, basic system wiring, software installation and basic system programming. The purpose of this course is to guide students through the step-by-step process required to ensure basic functionality of a LenelS2 OnGuard access control system. The fundamentals course is the first course in the technical certification curriculum that supports the basic knowledge required for all Professional or Expert tracks. This course is intended for entry-level technicians involved in the basic implementation of a LenelS2 electronic security system. It is the starting point for all LenelS2 OnGuard certification tracks for individuals looking to attain the LenelS2 Certified Professional (LCP) and LenelS2 Certified Expert (LCE) certifications. Prior to attending CORE training, participants should be competent in basic electronics (including low-voltage systems), familiar with access control terminology and skilled in basic computer technology (including a working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems).

This two-day, instructor-led training guides students through deploying and updating BriefCam Review, BriefCam Respond and BriefCam Research in a practical, realistic environment. During this class, students will gain the knowledge and skills to install, upgrade and troubleshoot BriefCam. A professional instructor will introduce students to the tools and techniques required to work with BriefCam in a distributed environment.
