Who This Is For

Now in its 20th year, this year’s theme will be especially relevant to those focused on force readiness, naval force structure, munitions and industrial capacity, shipbuilding and sustainment, and the ability to rapidly translate emerging technologies and operational lessons into combat power. Drawing on lessons from Ukraine, Iran and other recent conflicts, discussions will examine what must change across government and industry to ensure U.S. forces can deter, respond, and sustain operations in an increasingly demanding security environment.

MISSION

_____

Why This Conference Exists

DFW brings together senior military leaders, policymakers, members of Congress, defense industry executives, acquisition and technology professionals, and experts from government, academia, and the national security community to address the most challenging national security issues. The conference is for those shaping—and executing—the decisions that will determine America’s military readiness and competitive advantage.

FORMAT

_____

One-Day, One-Track Experience

This one-day conference is designed to provide a cohesive experience, uniting attendees in a collective dialogue. Each speaker and the final panel discussion build upon the preceding one, fostering a seamless exploration of solutions to critical challenges in national defense. All sessions will be live-streamed and recorded, allowing for ongoing learning and reflection. Following the conference, a networking reception will offer significant opportunities for personal interaction and meaningful engagement.

Strategy: What do the national defense strategy and maritime priorities require?

Resourcing: Are America’s budgets, industrial capacity, munitions, and forces aligned with that strategy?
