The Foundations: Early Career Surgeon Education program embraces surgeons at the onset of their career to build orthopedic knowledge and confidence with Zimmer Biomet products and services. The program’s cornerstone is a tailored curriculum blending innovative and diverse modalities to maximize learning.

The following is the tailored curriculum for the East Zone for Residents PGY4/5, Fellows and surgeons 1-2 years into practice. Please refer to link for states included in the designated zone.

Sunshine Act In-Kind Payment Reporting: Meeting expenses may be reported by Zimmer Biomet to the U.S. government as in-kind payment as required by the Physician Payment Sunshine Act: - Airfare (actual cost) - Hotel (actual cost) - Course Fees (shuttle, actual cost of meals)

Food and beverage provided in conjunction with this course is for meeting attendees only. AdvaMed guidelines prohibit spouses or guests from participating in receptions and/or meal functions.
