The Snake River Section of the American Chemical Society welcomes you to Boise, ID for the 79th Northwest Regional Meeting (NORM)!

Embracing the theme “Chemistry in the City of Trees,” NORM 2026 will serve as a welcoming and vibrant gathering place for chemists across the Northwest. This theme echoes the experience of 19th-century travelers who found respite and community upon reaching the tree-lined Boise River after their journey crossing the barren Snake River plain. NORM 2026 aims to create a similar gathering place for the exchange of ideas, collaboration, and networking within our diverse chemical community.

Cancellation policy: Registrants may cancel their NORM 2026 registration by emailing NORM@acs.org. If the cancellation request is received by May 28,  2026, registrants will be refunded the registration fee less a $25 administration fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations received after May 28, 2026. Registrants may be replaced by other individuals, but must use the same form of payment as the original registrant.  Any refunds owed will be completed between July 1 and July 15 to the same form of payment used for registering.
