Meeting Health Policy - 2024 AAAR Annual Conference

The AAAR Board of Directors has approved the following health policy for the 42nd Annual Conference (October 21-25, 2024) in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We are monitoring the situation closely and may adjust this policy if new COVID, RSV, or influenza strains or rising rates warrant it.

Masks

· The use of masks is strongly encouraged in all indoor public settings.

Vaccinations

· Vaccinations against COVID, RSV, and influenza are strongly encouraged. However, we are not requiring proof of vaccination for attendance at the conference.

Other Considerations

· Please take a rapid COVID test before arriving at the conference. If it is positive, stay home. You do not need to show us your test result.

· If you do not feel well or show any symptoms of COVID-19 during the conference, please wear a mask, test as soon as possible, and consider isolating until you are clear on your COVID status.
