Student Assistants
A limited number of Student Assistant opportunities will be available for individuals interested in working at the AAAR 2024 Annual Conference. Once we have received enough applications to fulfill the needs of the conference, the application process will be closed. Assistants perform a variety of important tasks that ensure the smooth functioning of tutorial and platform sessions. You will be required to assist with two (2) tutorials and monitor four (4) sessions at the conference. In return for this service, student assistants may attend two (2) additional tutorials at no charge.
Requirements:
Applicants must be registered for the 2024 Annual Conference.
Applicants must complete and submit the student assistant application, along with an official letter from his/her university indicating full-time enrollment during the 2024 fall semester. The fall semester start and end dates MUST be stated in the letter. A copy of a student ID will NOT be accepted. Student verification is due by Friday, August 9, 2024. Please note that your application will not be considered complete until your verification has been received.
Student assistants are each required to assist with two (2) tutorials and monitor four (4) sessions at the conference.
Student assistants must attend the orientation meeting on Sunday, October 20, 2024 at 7 pm and must stay for the entire conference which ends on Friday afternoon at 12:30 pm.
