Welcome! - 48th Annual California State Foster Parent Training Conference

Dear Caregivers of California,

On behalf of The California State Foster Parent Association (CSFPA) I am pleased to welcome you to our 48^th Annual Training Conference. We are excited to see you and connect with caregivers from across the state.

Consistent with our Association’s goals, the 2025 Conference “We Are All in This Together” is designed to keep you informed of current updates in California Child Welfare Services and best practices when working with traumatized children. We would like to extend a special welcome to our presenters who are experts in these areas. Be sure that you get an opportunity to hear from all of them. We appreciate their expertise in assisting us with the challenges of raising traumatized children. We also extend a special welcome to the CDSS team who continue to make sure we have the most up-to-date information directly from the State.

We welcome all our caregivers, whether this is your first time attending or if you’ve attended regularly. We invite you to celebrate all your efforts as truly “We Are All in This Together.” Our hope is that all caregivers find the resources, strategies and connections throughout this conference that will help you develop networks of support and community!

We look forward to the time we will spend together, connecting and learning. We again extend our gratitude to the California Department of Social Services for sponsoring this conference.
