Looking for practical tools to better manage stress, navigate difficult emotions, and feel more confident handling challenging situations? UFT MAP is partnering with the Center for Trauma and Stress Education (CTSE) to offer a series of free, one-hour monthly trainings focused on practical skills for managing stress, navigating challenging situations, and supporting emotional well-being. Led by Harvard-trained doctors and clinical psychologists, each interactive session provides evidence-based tools that members can use in both their professional and personal lives. UFT members will also receive 1 CTLE credit upon completion of each training. The holiday season can make grief feel especially heavy, bringing memories, traditions, and losses to the surface in unexpected ways. In this compassionate, interactive session, participants will explore how grief can show up during the holidays and learn practical ways to navigate loss with greater understanding and self-compassion. The training will also offer guidance for supporting others who may be grieving, including how to show up with care when there are no easy words or solutions. Walk away with practical tools for coping with grief, supporting others, and moving through the holiday season with greater care and connection.
