We are pleased to announce that the "Mindful Practice in Medicine Core Workshop: Find Joy and Resilience, and Enhance Quality of Care' is now approved for tuition reimbursement for eligible UR/URMC employees.
To ensure tuition reimbursement, proof of tuition cost, proof of payment, and proof of successful course completion needs to be received by the Office of Total Rewards via email no later than 90 days following course completion. For more information, visit www.rochester.edu/benefits/tuition.
Each employee will need to complete the following steps:
Confirm your eligibility for the tuition reimbursement benefit:
Eligible employees include those with at least 1 year of full-time service. If you are unsure of your eligibility, contact the Office of Total Rewards at (585) 275-0476 or via email at TuitionBenefits@UR.rochester.edu.
Complete the online Employee Tuition Reimbursement application:
Log into myURHR Workday using your Active Directory, click on ‘Benefits and Pay’ on the homepage under the Apps section, click on ‘Employee Tuition Reimbursement Application’ under the Suggested Links section.
Tuition Reimbursement Approval Process:
The Office of Total Rewards will notify you of your tuition reimbursement application approval/denial via email.
Payment of 70% Tuition Reimbursement:
Within 90 days of course completion, the employee must submit an itemized tuition bill, including proof of cost and payment, and proof of successful course completion (i.e. grade report) by logging into myURHR Workday using your Active Directory, click on ‘Benefits and Pay’ on the homepage under the Apps section, click on ‘Employee Tuition Reimbursement Application’ under the Suggested Links section.
Note: Once paperwork is submitted, reimbursements will be loaded into employee’s paychecks within 1-2 pay periods of paperwork being received. *All applications must be submitted no later than 30 days from the start of the course.
Mindful Practice in Medicine Cancellation Policy
- Up to 30 days prior to workshop: 100% refund minus $200 administration fee, or may apply full balance to a future workshop within 1 year without admin fee.
- 30 to 14 days prior to workshop: 50% refund or may apply full balance to a future workshop within one year.
- Less than 14 days prior: no refund, but email Daniela Elliott for clarification.
- No show- no refund.
