Offshore wind has fast emerged as a vital component of Europe’s strategy to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050. Established markets such as Germany and the UK and new markets such as Poland and France offer a huge opportunity with already announced plans of more than 100 GW over the next decade. However, for such ambitious plans to succeed, building the necessary infrastructure for integrating the offshore wind farms to onshore grids becomes critical.

Global Transmission Report is organising the 2nd edition of its conference on Offshore Wind Transmission, Europe as an online event on May 11-12, 2021.
