Jet Pull is back and bigger than ever!

In support of the Family Fund and in celebration of our centennial year, American will host three Jet Pull events throughout 2026. 

American will host the Jet Pull series at three of the largest hubs across the system starting with CLT, followed by MIA and DFW.

Charlotte (CLT)

Ready to Pull a Plane and Fuel a Great Cause?

Step 1

Rally 20 teammates

  • American Airlines team members, including wholly owned carriers, and invited business partners may participate in the event. Keep in mind, positive space and accommodations will not be provided if team members decide to travel in for the event.
  • Designate one team leader to register your team.
  • Participation in the event is voluntary and as schedules permit. The Jet Pull involves strenuous physical activity that comes with inherent risks. Participants should be in good physical health to compete. Each participant will need to sign a waiver of liability and release before participating in the event. 

Step 2

Raise at least $1100 for the American Airlines Family Fund

Don’t stop there - aim higher to maximize your impact.The more you raise, the better the swag.

  • $3,000 = Participation in Jet Pull + reusable water bottles for the team.
  • $4,000 = Participation in Jet Pull + reusable water bottles + an exclusive event branded t-shirt for the team.

All donations must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on the day before the event to be eligible to participate. Please refer to your registration confirmation email for the exact deadline.

Donation Submission
Submit your donations by following these steps:

  1. Visit the Family Fund Donation Site.
  2. Toggle to the “Teams” tab to find your team's number.
  3. Select “View” to make your donation(s). 

Be sure to select the correct team name when submitting your donation!

Step 3

Pull the jet and have some fun

  • Teams of 20 will race to pull the Boeing 737-800 Centennial Aircraft a set distance for time. The first pull will be at 8:00 a.m. Time slots and the location details will be provided in the Know Before You Go.
  • The three teams with the fastest times will earn medal and bragging rights.
  • Teams that fundraise at or above the fundraising thresholds will earn exclusive branded swag.
