ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

This annual regional conference brings together Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurses Society™ (WOCN®) members to collaborate for a weekend-long educational event. The educational program is designed to provide evidence-based knowledge of the latest techniques, applications and treatments related to wound, ostomy, and continence issues.

Register and gain insights from regional WOC leaders as you develop new skills, network with fellow WOCN® Society professionals and earn continuing education credits.

The Northeast Chapter of the WOCN® Society reaches over 700+ WOC nurses from New York, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

CONFERENCE OBJECTIVES

  • Discuss advances in theoretical and clinical evidence-based knowledge impacting individuals affected by wound, ostomy, or continence issues.
  • Compare strategies for implementing, justifying, and marketing the wound, ostomy, and continence nurse role.
  • Describe examples of evidence-based practice and multidisciplinary approaches to enhance outcomes in various health care settings.
