Work collaboratively with federal partners and Tribal organizations to defend and enhance Tribal sovereignty! Join us for NCAI's 2026 Mid Year Convention & Marketplace, June 14–17 at the Renasant Convention Center in Memphis, Tennessee.
Tribal leaders, NCAI members, Native youth, and partners from across Indian Country will gather for daily thematic programming featuring plenary panels and breakout sessions highlighting Tribal civic engagement, pertinent legislation and advocacy updates, and Tribal governance best practices.
The Mid Year Convention represents another critical opportunity to engage directly in the NCAI resolutions process. Resolutions reflect the collective priorities of Tribal Nations and help guide NCAI’s advocacy at the federal, state, and Tribal levels.

Young Professionals and Emerging Leaders are invited to attend strategically created, intermittent professional development (PD) sessions throughout the convention. These opportunities are for young people aged 18–24 who are recent high school graduates, undergraduates, graduates, or employed, and are interested in advancing their policy knowledge.
Attendance is optional, allowing youth participants to prioritize attending General Assemblies and meetings of committees, subcommittees, task forces, and regional caucuses, all at a special youth discount rate.
As with previous NCAI events, individuals under the age of 18 are more than welcome to attend; unlike previous events, there will not be dedicated programming for these attendees. All attendees under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
The Young Professionals and Emerging Leaders Professional Development Track does not offer dedicated programming, a specific meeting space, or meals.
