Organized by Tsinghua University, Nature Communications, Nature Electronics, Nature Reviews Electrical Engineering, Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Computational Science Nature and Communications Engineering

The 2nd Nature Conference on Neuromorphic Computing will be in line with the spirit of the 1st one back to 2019 at the interdisciplinary interface to foster a collaborative environment for developing future computing technologies inspired by human brain. In the past 5 years, the research on neuromorphic computing has made important breakthroughs as alternatives to cover the power and latency shortfalls of traditional digital computing. A multidisciplinary approach is being taken to address the challenge of creating more efficient and intelligent computing systems that can perform diverse tasks to design hardware, increasing complexity from single device to system architecture level, and to develop new computing theories and algorithms beyond digital. The conference will reflect this synergic effort by including front-edge research in the topics listed below: 

  • Neuromorphic Hardware, Compute-in-Memory and Next-Generation Architectures
  • Brain-Inspired Computing and Algorithms, Software Frameworks
  • Spiking Neural Networks, Spike-Timing-Dependent Plasticity, Memory in AI
  • Bio-Inspired Sensing, Event-Driven Sensing, Neuromorphic Sensors
  • Edge and High-Performance Computing, Bio-Signal Processing and Brain-Computer Interface

A one-day tutorial session will also be hosted before the conference to introduce several topics of interest spanning from computing hardware, algorithms and computing theories, and the current and future applications of neuromorphic computing technologies.
