Overview

We are pleased to invite you to join the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions (C2ES), Marsh, and the Urban Land Institute (ULI), along with our supporting partner Resilience First, for a discussion on building corporate resilience through engagement with built environment stakeholders, as part of London Climate Action Week 2026.

Companies face growing physical climate risks, and many assess their exposures but few are treating climate resilience and adaptation planning holistically as a driver of strategy that can deliver a durable competitive advantage. Organizations are increasingly considering actions to make their own assets and activities more resilient, but often underappreciate the wider system-level dependencies which are also exposed to climate risks such as critical infrastructure. Built environment and infrastructure stakeholders, including building owners, utilities, and transport systems, can play a key role in developing a climate resilient system that benefits all businesses in a local area, while also adapting their own assets to climate risks. 

This invite-only roundtable will bring together perspectives from across the corporate sector, financial institutions, and the built environment to explore how organizations and stakeholders can better understand corporate resilience measures and system-level risks, and identify practical solutions for companies.
