Tabitha lost her mother to ALS in 2007 and often shares how her mother’s strength and enduring presence continue to inspire her to live with faith, joy, and gratitude.
That's exactly what ALS Nexus is about: bringing together people living with ALS, caregivers, healthcare providers, researchers, and advocates who refuse to stop fighting. Tabitha's presence on this stage is a reminder of why we show up.
A two-time Emmy Award-winning host, four-time New York Times bestselling author, multi–NAACP Image Award winner, and entrepreneur, Tabitha has built an extraordinary career on authentic storytelling. She's created and starred in Tab Time, Showtime's The Chi, BET's Churchy, and co-created Food Network's first-ever vegan cooking competition, It's CompliPlated.
