13th Annual UNC Cleantech Summit

The 13th Annual UNC Cleantech Summit, held April 5–6, 2027 at the Friday Conference Center in Chapel Hill, is the largest university-hosted cleantech event of its kind. It convenes global industry leaders, policymakers, entrepreneurs, investors, and students—along with international government representatives from Europe and Asia—to explore how the Southeast is shaping the future of the cleantech economy. With a strong emphasis on high-impact networking and collaboration, the Summit offers a unique platform for connecting established organizations with emerging talent and innovators.

Across more than 50 breakout sessions and multiple keynote presentations, the 2027 Summit will spotlight nine (9) tracks of topics that are shaping cleantech and the energy landscape. The event also features a Mentor Match program (available on registration) that pairs professionals with students. A Career Fair will be held on April 6, providing rich opportunities for professional development, business growth, and cross-sector partnerships in the rapidly evolving cleantech landscape.

CHAPEL HILL, NC

Located at 100 Friday Center Drive in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, the Friday Center is a modern, purpose-built conference and continuing education facility operated by UNC-Chapel Hill.
