Suburban Sponsored Luncheon: Super-Sized: Considerations for Small Caps in Equity Allocations
Hotel West & Main
Join CFAP for an engaging luncheon presentation featuring Avantis Investors, as we explore the role of small-cap equities in today's investment landscape. While large-cap stocks have dominated headlines and market performance in recent years, changing market dynamics are prompting investors to reassess the potential opportunities offered by smaller companies. This session will examine the historical characteristics of small-cap investing, the factors that have influenced recent performance, and the considerations investment professionals should weigh when determining appropriate equity allocations.
Attendees will gain practical insights into how small-cap strategies may enhance portfolio diversification, long-term return potential, and exposure to market segments that are often underrepresented in traditional benchmarks. The discussion will also address valuation trends, risk considerations, implementation approaches, and the role of systematic portfolio construction in capturing small-cap opportunities. Whether you oversee institutional portfolios, advise private clients, or manage your own investment strategy, this timely presentation will provide valuable perspectives for evaluating the place of small-cap equities in a well-diversified portfolio.
