Course Description

This course provides an overview of patient-specific implant abutment and restorative solutions designed to address a broad range of clinical needs. Participants will explore restorative options for healing and temporization, as well as cement-retained, screw-retained, friction-retained, and attachment-retained restorations. The course will highlight how customized design options and flexible digital workflows can support single-, partial-, and full-arch cases while addressing both functional and esthetic goals. Participants will also examine how patient-specific prosthetic design can improve restorative predictability, workflow efficiency, and communication between the dental practice and laboratory. Emphasis will be placed on selecting appropriate restorative solutions based on the individual clinical requirements of each patient.

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Identify various implant abutment and restorative options for cement-, screw-, friction-, and attachment-retained restorations.
  • Evaluate restorative options and design considerations for single-, partial-, and full-arch implant cases based on individual clinical, functional, and esthetic needs.
  • Integrate patient-specific design and digital workflow options to enhance restorative predictability, efficiency, and communication between the dental practice and laboratory.
