Status
- Application is now OPEN for the ESC Working Group on Myocardial & Pericardial Diseases - M&PD - taking place in Berlin, Germany from Friday, October 23rd until Saturday, October 24th, 2026
- Application deadline: September 29th, 2026
- The Selection Committee will make its independent selection by September 30th, 2026
- Grant recipients will be notified no later than a week after the selection process
Eligibility
- Only citizens or permanent residents of selected Western European countries may apply
- Licensed physicians that specialize in cardiology

Conditions
- The grant is intended for the ESC Working Group ONLY
- In case of absence due to illness, force majeure or other unavoidable circumstance, the grant award would be deemed lost and the candidate asked to explain his/her absence
- All paperwork (visa, study leave, etc.) remains the responsibility of the applicant
- Applicants are eligible for one source of funding only. If alternative funds are available on top of the industry-sponsored grant for the ESC Working Group 2026, applicants must notify the Selection Committee immediately
- All travel arrangements and registration will be organized through The Society for Worldwide Medical Exchange (SWME) and no reimbursements will be provided to Health Care Professionals.
