Slow down, get creative, and discover the colors and patterns hidden in nature. In this hands-on workshop, children and their caregivers will use dried plants gathered from the natural world to create one-of-a-kind eco-printed cards.
Arrange leaves, petals, and other plant materials onto paper, then steam your cards and watch as nature leaves its mark. While your prints steam, experiment with Gelli plate printing to make additional layers of colorful, textured artwork using the same dried plants. Each process offers a chance to explore shapes, patterns, and the beautiful surprises that emerge when art and nature come together.
Create side by side, experiment with new techniques, and leave with a collection of handmade cards to share with loved ones or keep as little works of art.
