Save the date!

The IIA Salt Lake City chapter is excited to host our October monthly luncheon at the Zionsbancorp Technology Center in Midvale.

You’re working on multiple projects, and despite your best plans, everything seems to hit at once. How do you decide what to tackle first and keep moving forward? The standard answer is to ask your supervisor, “What’s my priority?” But what else can you do to meet deadlines, keep projects on track, and retain your sanity when working longer hours isn’t a sustainable solution?

Multitasking is usually ineffective. This session explores practical strategies to maintain focus, make progress on one priority at a time, and keep work moving forward even when demands compete for attention.

This session will help you manage your projects before they manage you—drawing on lessons from some of the best leaders in history. We’ll cover practical fundamentals that, when applied consistently, set you up for success and help you find a way forward when things go off track.

You’ll learn how effective planning, including a clear focus on objectives and anticipating obstacles, prepares you for whatever comes your way. We’ll also explore the concept of the critical path to success, identifying the essential steps required to meet end goals and keep priorities clear.

Reserve your seat today!

Lunch will be provided.
