2026 Cottey College Day Trip
My dear Arkansas sisters,
The Arkansas State Board is so excited to provide the opportunity for all of us to visit Cottey
College together!!
We hope you will join us on Monday, September 28th as we travel by motor coach from
Springdale, Arkansas to Nevada, Missouri for the day.
Event information
The outing will go like this:
8am – Leave the Springdale, AR Holiday Inn parking lot
10:20am – Arrive at Cottey College in Nevada, MO
We will tour the campus, visit the Arkansas Suite, have lunch in the cafeteria with Arkansas students, and have the opportunity to shop in the Spirit Shop.
3pm – We will leave Nevada and return to the Holiday Inn, Springdale parking lot around 5:15.

Many of you will need hotel accommodations on Sunday the 27 th . The Holiday Inn, Springdale has a block of rooms ready for us. The room cost is $ .
YOU MUST MAKE YOUR OWN HOTEL RESERVATION.

The cost to you is $60 – that includes a seat on the bus and lunch in Cottey’s cafeteria as well as a $3.25 registration fee that our registration site charges. If you chose to drive yourself on the 28th to Cottey, the cost is $13.25 for lunch in the cafeteria. This includes the registration fee.
You must register for this option as well!

Where do we meet to get on the motor coach?
We will be meeting at the Holiday Inn in Springdale. The address is 1500 South 48th St. Springdale, AR 72764. Phone # is 479-751-8300.
Do we have to ride the motor coach to be able to attend the tour of Cottey College?
No you can meet us at Cottey College to take the tour and enjoy lunch with us.
What do I do if I live a long distance away?
The Holiday Inn will have a block of rooms to accommodate those who need to arrive early. You will need to call and make your own reservation. Please reference Arkansas State P.E.O.
Do I need to register if I am driving there myself?
Yes we will need you to register for travel and lunch ahead so we know how many seats on the motor coach and how many lunches to prepare for.
What should I wear?
Dress in layers as it will be warm outside but can be cool on the motor coach and in the cafeteria. Also wear comfortable walking shoes.

Our hotel will be the Holiday Inn Springdale located at 1500 S. 48th St. Springdale. You will be responsible for making your own reservation. With 2 queen beds sisters can share a room to save cost if they would like.
