This educational program is designed to equip oncology healthcare professionals with practical strategies to enhance patient-centered cancer care through timely clinical trial consideration and advanced radiation treatment approaches. Participants will explore how to identify appropriate patients for oncology clinical trial enrollment and effectively integrate clinical trial discussions into routine cancer care conversations.
Through evidence-based presentations and multidisciplinary case discussions, faculty will review the current indications, clinical evidence, benefits, and limitations of proton therapy across various cancer types. The program will also emphasize collaborative decision-making principles to help clinicians determine when referral for clinical trials or proton therapy may provide the greatest benefit for individual patients.
By the conclusion of this activity, participants will be better prepared to apply multidisciplinary treatment planning strategies, optimize referral pathways, and support informed, personalized treatment decisions in oncology practice.
Accreditation with the University of S. Florida has been applied for and currently pending for 2.0 hours.

As a result of participating in this activity, the learner will be able to:
